Student can choose the amount that he/she receives on FAP, in the unit of 10,000 yen, between the minimum amount of 100,000 yen and his/her ceiling amount, which can be calculated from the number of months between the month of fund provision and the month when the student finishes his/her course at CU.


Ceiling Amount ＝　Smaller amount between:
①　｛(Number of months between the month of fund provision and the month that the student finishes his/her course)-4-Grace Period* }×10,000 yen

②　400,000 yen for Four year course, 300,000 yen for Three year course, 150,000 yen for Two year course.
Example Calculation of Ceiling Amount:
If a student enrolled in four year undergraduate course receives a fund in April in his first year and selects “six month grace period*”, the number of months between the fund provision (April in the first year) and the months of graduation (March in the fourth year) is 48. Therefore, the ceiling amount for this student is (48-4-6) x 10,000 = 380,000 yen
Grace Period*

The Grace Period is defined as the period from date of fund provision to the date of the first installment of reimbursement and it is established to give students enough time to prepare for the reimbursements. Student chooses his/her grace period from the options below when they apply:

Undergraduate Students:1 month, 3 months OR 6 months
Junior college and Graduate Students: 1 month, 2months OR 5 months
