United Nations University Financial Assistance Programme for Students from Developing Countries Studying in Japan (UNU-FAP) offers only students of cooperating universities internships.

1. Work Assignment
- Writing articles and other tasks related to creating newsletters issued twice a year, April and October.
- Assisting in other office work instructed by the Supervisor of FAP/UNU.
2. Durations
Spring: A minimum of one and a half months between 1 February and 31 March
Summer: A minimum of one and a half months between 1 August and 30 September
3. Required qualifications
- A student of a FAP cooperating university. A FAP recipient if an applicant is non-Japanese.
- Interest in activities of international organizations, international cooperation and cultural exchange with international students studying in Japan.
- Excellent command of English or Japanese in conversation and writing. For Japanese nationals, STEP Test pre-1st grade (Eigo Kentei Jun-Ikkyu) or TOEFL 213 or above. For foreign nationals, Japanese proficiency test 1st grade or native (or near native) proficiency in English.
- Experience writing and (or) editing school newspapers, experience creating websites and knowledge on HTML are welcome.
- PC skills (ability to use basic word processing and spreadsheet software)
- Able to work 4-5 days a week
4. Salaries, and commuting and travel costs
None offered.
